Hey just a quick question

Hi guys after a 2 month long battle with BT ( hate them hate them hate thm ) i finally got a phoneline off them. I ordered my BB with PN on Tuesday (30th) now watching the order tracking everything has passed and im waiting on activation.
It gives me the dte of July 8th after 12pm, now is that definate? Is there any slim chance we will have broadband before this date? I havent recieved my router yet, but i have an old one hooked up with all the password and username details i was suplied after my order was placed.
Now im no expert on anything internet related, but i was wondering why i have to wait until July 8th? What is the process that takes a week?
Now i dont mean that in a mangry way, just genuine curiosity.

Hi Abs,
Welcome to Community
The date you've been given is the date that we've requested from BT.  They normally hit this, probably about 98% of the time.
Sometimes it does happen early though!

I see, makes sense... so yet again im waiting on BT.. ha! I cant understand how such a well known company can be soooo very bad at thier job..
So 8th it is.. ill try and be patient hehe
