Her indoors just messed up our connection!

Ok so for the 18 months or so we have been with plusnet we have rock solid 6.6meg
This evening she moved the home phone to the master socket and plugged it in, the router is plugged into the same socket so the connection was lost for a few mins.
After removing the phone and plugging the router back in I thought the internet was a bit slow so ran a speed test, 2.7meg!

Bt speed tester shows 3000 for the profile (if that's the correct word for it, I forgot now).

I am hoping its just connected at a low speed as it was 7pm and the network is very busy when the router re sync'd with the exchange?
If I reboot the router after midnight do you think it will return to our regular speeds?

Resync in daylight hours; noise levels increase at night.
May take several days before you are back up to your old speeds.

All back to normal now, thanks for your input Smiley
