It could be the router, it is a process of elimination, but it will help rule your phone line out. The only way to definitely see if your router isn't working is trying another.
Your line has become more stable over the past day compared to the past week.
It appears you have closed your fault that was open, if your conenction does drop again I'd suggest raising a fault again at http://faults.plus.net

and choose option 2 - quiet line test.
do it on a wired phone - not a 'dect' portable
