I've been getting very slow downloads on the pro package around
300 Kbps at peak time and around 1000 kbps - 2000 Kbps at
off peak times
My normal speed is 4000kbps at any time of the day like the pro package should be
Router stats
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 5,344
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 23.0 / 41.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 20.0 / 15.0
IP profile
4500 Kbps on bt and plusnet
Exchange is green and always has been
All fillters have been changed
My friend (bt engineer) checked internal wiring all good there
So any idea why so slow nothing changed my end even got the
same ip profile and routers stats I've always had just not the speed
Cheers Baz

Hi there,
Could you run the BT Speedtester when you see the slowdowns and let us know the results you get?

you couldnt have picked a worse time to change your router, never muck around with your connection after about 15:30 and before about 1 hour after daybreak. All you will have done now is to resynch at a low speed

Isn't there something odd about these test results? How can an Assured Rate session suddenly become an ordinary one? I'm afraid I can't help with answers, but I think this question shouldn't be overlooked....

The two bt speedtest were taken a hour apart don't know why ones assured and one isn't
So anyone know why I've got a good sync, good ip profile, good router stats but slow download speeds.
What could cause this bad router, exchange equipment any ideas
