The documentation suggesting forwarding spam on page http://www.plus.net/support/security/spam/spam_protection_guide.shtml?supportb=security_t5spam#5 (section 5), may actually cause more spam - especially on pages with photos linked back to a server. Forwarding on Outllook Express for example actually opens any photo links on the page (showing an active email address) and is surely not the recommended way to do this.

'Using Webmail'?
Yes that's fine to suggest. I won't use two application to access emails again though its just adds to the risks after previous Plusnet experiences.
I am happy to use Outlook Express which if kept up to date is secure. I normally don't open spam messages and will certainly not forward them again as the documentation suggests. Webmail alone is not the answer IMO but the link at the end of the section to http://www.plus.net/support/email/email_troubleshooting/email_troubleshooting.shtml is helpful though a simpler solution (if there is one) would be preferable.
