Hi all,
ADSL2 was looking positive for me at one point, had a 4meg profile and about 800ish upload.
Long story short last weekend I noticed my down speed had dropped to 288 down and 444 up. Yes I know it looks like I am on the capped upload again!
Did all the usual, diff router, master socket, new filter, logged a fault - nothing has helped and PN say nothing is wrong.
Looking at my router stats things look very wrong, my attenuation hasn't changed before or after the speed drop and my max stable rate is what it should be....
Web browsing is painful to say the least, can't wait to go to work to use my PN business connection lol.
I have a spare new BT2700 which I opened today (version 6 firmware) but no change (was hoping new firmware would be more adsl2 friendly or at least get a diff sync)
Wonder if James or any other PN staff could pick this one up? Maybe upcapping me again will unstick things? Ticket 29022535

Hiya,
You'll be happy to know that this is the first time I've ever raised a fault on BTs new system.
Hopefully:
a) I'll manage to do it without breaking things.
b) We'll get some movement on your fault over the weekend.

Hi. Have exactly the same issues as you. Went OK at first, but now stuck at 288down, 989up!!!!! Margin is the same as yours as well, at 30.5dB. Awaiting a BT vist on Monday to see what may happen. Done all the things you have done as well, 4 filters and a faceplate, 2 RJ11s 2 routers. See my post http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76379.0.html

Keep us updated, not too sure what use the engineer will be tbh. I wonder if the line cards in the exchange need a bit of tweaking / firmware updates type thing.

Wish mine was OK...... I agree, not sure what the Engineer will do, I was informed they were doing some work on my line, and now an engineer vist is required. Wait and see with baited breath.
