I have problems from 5pm for about an hour or until i reboot the router, the lag has settled down but they is still some there.

Re: Having Latency/speed problems tonight? - 5th March

Heres the stats etc you wanted
•A description of the problem (please include as much detail as possible, e.g. how your experience compares to what you'd normally expect, what sites/services you're having problems with)
Just general slowdown of speed by at least HALF
•Whether or not it's the first night you've had problems?
Ok the first couple of days of joining(22nd Feb) now its every night
•Whether using a wired or wireless connection (wired is preferred)
Wired
•What gateway you are connected to?
You are currently connected to gateway ptw-ag01 Telehouse west
But the problem has been on numerous different ones over previous days
PN Profile is 78mb  BTW Ip Profile is 67mb was 77mb until i changed for shorter cable.

Yes if i leave the internet alone for a hour it sorts itself out, I have the internet on most of the day but from 5pm when i play my game with my guild i have problems. I can reset the router and get back online with no problems but it is the sudden drop in speed that is hard to get evidence of happening.
It feels like my broadband is swinging from 11mbps to below 512 kbps at around 5pm - 6pm.

Re: Having Latency/speed problems tonight? - 5th March

Gus - are you able to do a wireshark of TVCatchup please and see if it shows as gold?
Is anything apart from TVCatchup affected?

Re: Having Latency/speed problems tonight? - 5th March

This isn't as bad tonight as it has been on some other nights, but there has still been a speed drop as I normally get 70+ during the day.

Re: Having Latency/speed problems tonight? - 5th March

Started when I moved to Fibre unlimited normal down was a steady 51-52Mb and 10-11Mb up
major problems with speed drop was 24th Feb dropped to 16Mb down,27th Feb down speed was as low as 2Mb. I have the same problem around 4pmevery day speed goes up and down like a yoyo
Problems with streaming video from iPlayer, browsing can be very slow and downloads can be very slow even from windows updates which is normally very fast. Unrepeatable what son says is happening while playing WOW during peak times.
I've been gateway hoping the last week but leaving 2 days between changing gateways to give them a chance but same problems on all gateways, Everything OK then from 4pm to 11pm when speed varies greatly and problems start.

All connections Wired

You are currently connected to gateway ptw-ag04. This is located in Telehouse West.
BT speed test tonight my IP has drooped from 54.4 to 50.5  been 54.4 for weeks, PN showing IP78

PN has just made my evening just got email asking if I'll take part in speed tests for awards. I'll delcine at the moment unless they want to lose?

Odd, I can't think of anything this side that would consistently result in a problems for this hour or two.
@KevinAndrews, stay where you are for the time being. I'll give you (and others) a nudge when we'd like you to try and find a gateway without the problems.
@leader, stay where you are too and we'll try and capture some data.
