Has there been a Network outage at PN this morning?

At around 09:00 my Router disconnected for a minute or so then reconnected, but I had no internet connection.

Checking the Router (Thomson TG582) all appeared OK reporting connection to Plusnet DNS servers 212.159.6.10 (9).

I found that I could Ping sites - PN DNS servers; BBC.co.uk using the IP address but not by name.

NSlookup reported unable to locate server

Checking the Router log it was reporting - at 5minute intervals - unable to contact 212.159.6.10

 

Around 10:15 as I was still investigating, I could see signs of life returning PING worked, NSLOOKUP started responding and then I was back on-line.

Hi, that's odd but no we've not been experiencing any issues which might have caused that to happen.
