Has my Broadband been activated yet?

I haven't recieved any text or email to confirm this, but I have tried to set-up my router and have a green Broadband light but no Internet light. I then open up my browser, get to the Thomson Gateway page and try to enter the router username and serial number but this isn't accepted. Should I be entering something else here?

The router username is admin and the password is the serial number.
