HTTPI, Protocol or small webserver?

What is this line in the router used for,
9 HTTPI            tcp                      8080                      enabled
Is it for external web access to the router, ie a small web server,  or is it allowing the HTTPI Protocol to work returning on port 8080.
Or neither ?
Regards
Gary

Re: HTTPI, Protocol or small webserver?

I believe it's something to do with "web Browsing Interception".
If you disable the above in the GUI then the HTTPI service becomes disabled.

Re: HTTPI, Protocol or small webserver?

Ok so i've restarted my Router earlier today and i do recall turning off that web interception, but it's been up for 44 days and this would be the first time i've restarted it.
I just tried to enable the service from the cli and it appears still disabled after saving etc, so i guess it makes sense that the Router will only make changes after a warm reset etc.
So back to the point in hand, HTTPI=Web Browsing Interception.
