When you load a page on the forums, you will potentially be visiting a number of different sites, as you grab peoples avatars from other web servers.  What Google-Analytics.com can grab is no different to what any of those other sites can find out about you as well.
If you use your webspace with PlusNet (or any other webspace for that matter), and have webstats enabled, then you can see loads of information about who has visited your site, what browsers they are using, their IP Address, what they have visited on your site etc...  Google-Analytics.com collects this same information for a web site and gives some nice pretty graphs and charts based on that info.  You could do exactly the same yourself.

It's nothing sinister Pierre.  It just gives us some very basic information on which of the pages on here are most popular and that sort of thing.  It's very common for most websites to have something similar.
