Good sync, good profile, not so good speed tests??

I have a PlusNet 65Mb profile and sync speeds of 68000, yet speedtests show 60Mb download (upload is as expected and fine).
Connection is hard wired and I have even tried direct to the BT modem without any difference.
Any ideas?

That facility has error'd on my line since moving to your 80/20 service back in March 2012.  It gets past test1 and just error's.

Hi, did you try the beta speed tester at the above page? That's the one for speeds over 40Mb, hope that one works for you?
If not perhaps try http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/ ?

Yes, that's one of the speedtesters I use.  60Mb DL shown.

Thanks for getting back to us, I can see a fault has been raised so our faults team should be getting back to you ASAP.
EDIT:
Just thought I'd reply back after looking at this again.
Apologies I think I suffered from temporary brain failure earlier on as a 60mb download speed is about right for a 65mb profile actually.

I'm not convinced that's a factual statement imo.... I used to (up to about 2 weeks ago) get at the very least, 63Mb.

Speeds can fluctuate on a fibre connection so you may find that it even rises again at some point. It's not something we can look at as a fault I'm afraid.

Apologies... I thought that link was the normal BT speedtest link.  It's not as it's the wholesale one.  I've just ran through your link and it passes the tests, which is strange as the other tester does not run the diagnostics on my line.
Anyway... it brings back as saying the BT Profile is 66.35Mbps.
