Getting longer event logs from 582N

Guys, I've forgotten how to set up longer logs in the TG582N. I think syslog msgbuf show hist=enabled comes in to it somehow.
Can someone point me to the way its' done, please?

You've got the correct command (syslog msgbuf show hist=enabled).
Are you asking how to use telnet?
