Do I need to do anything special to get my line across to ADSL 2+?
I was notified at the beginning of January that this was all due to happen (by the 26th of that month) but even now, my router still shows G.DMT as the protocol being used.
I put a call in (ID: 31975395) and the guys have said that there was a "line change" but I'm still seeing no difference. Having seen all the messages here about special requests to switch from G.DMT I wondered if I need to do anything else.
The router is a Billion 7300N, currently synched at 7100kbps - which has been pretty much the norm during its ADSL life....that's why I was hoping to see some good results from the switchover.
Attenuation is 40db but I'm pretty close to the exchange and usually have around a 5-6db noise margin assigned.
