Frequently losing internet

All green lights are on on the router but internet access on devices ceases.  This can be from the start or part way through a browsing session.  Usually sucessfuly resolved by turning router off for a few minutes / hours but that's obviously far from ideal fro so many reasons.
Any advice welcome or do I simply raise a ticket?
BTW I don't know if this is significant but that little spinny thing in the top left hand corner of the tab is nearly always spinning whereas it used to stop after loading the page.
