Frequent disconnections again

Good afternoon
I had frequent disconnections a few weeks back which seemed to be resolved by switching on interleaving as i had errors on the line. The disconnections have been starting again and i am hardly able to stay connected.
I can't communicate long enough on the forums to reply so could an engineer possibly call me again as before.
Thank you very much your help is appreciated

Re: Frequent disconnections again

Hi there,
Ive had a look and it does look like you are having some trouble:

From doing on testing there does appear to be a few problems. My best advise would be to run through the following checks:

Here is a text version just in case:

If you still have issues after this I would strongly recommend raising a fault and we can have our faults guys look into the matter further

Re: Frequent disconnections again

I'm lucky if it stays connected for ten minutes at a time before i am disconnected, even when connected to the test socket. My router is a billion 7800n and is three years old so i am not sure if that could also be a problem. The filters are only a month old and they were bought from here https://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/products/1652-adsl-nation-xf-1e/.
I am at a loss seeing as the interleaving seemed to help for a while until now. Sad

Re: Frequent disconnections again

Sorry to hear that.
My best advice would go to your local Tesco or Asda, they sell micro filters for a couple of quid each.
As for the router, it does sound like it could be on the old side. Do you have a friend or neighbor who may have a second router you could borrow? if not give our support team guys a call and they should be able to arrange a new one.

Re: Frequent disconnections again

As i say the filters i use i bought from broadbandbuyer  a few months ago and they have been fantastic as my previous ones were the same and lasted years. How much would a new router cost me supplied from yourselves for testing purposes?.
Thank you.

Re: Frequent disconnections again

There are two options to get a router from us:
£5.99 postage and a 12 month contract.
OR
£45.99 for the router and the postage but no contract.
If you give our support team a call they can arrange either option for you.
