Been getting quite a lot of connection drops the past few months.
I can consistently replicate a connection drop by turning on my smart TV and/or XBOX. Seems to drop, and then keep dropping, whenever I attempt to connect to XBOX live.
Had a look in my router logs and I see these ICMP check warnings a second or two before every line drop...
If anyone could please advise what to do next I'd be most grateful, as this is slowly driving me insane.
Thanks!

What router are you currently using, the TG582n we supplied?

How close is the XBOX power supply to the router? And do you connect wired or wireless to the XBOX?

The XBOX is connected to the router via ethernet, but there are other devices (laptops, phones) connected via wifi to the router.
I am using the supplied TG582n.
XBOX power supply is a good 6 feet away from the router.

Both xbox's in the house will crash the router. They're both using wired connections, one is about 5 metres away the other about 15 metres away upstairs. Nothing else seems to cause the problem just the xbox's?

I had similar problems with vista pc's and Xboxes in the dim and distant past, every time they were turned on they crashed the router (I tested the problem with 4 different routers at the time ) something in the network setup on the devices sending a wakeup packet that rather than doing nothing causes the already alive and kicking router to restart.....the only other option is don't plug the Ethernet cable in to the xbox until after its finished booting up and remember to unplug it before switching off (or it will probably send a shutdown signal) iirc its a through back to dialup modems and not leaving them switched on when not needed .....
