Free domains and email

I've registered a new free .me.uk domain name which works linking to my web pages but I'm not getting any email sent to the new address. Have I missed something? Where is the mail going, it's not being bounced?

Hi George,
What prefix are you using before the @ sign? Remember that DNS at our side will be set up before the rest of the world too, so whereas browsing to your site from your Plusnet connection might work, emailing from an external source may not.
If you're still having problems at midday, I'd raise a ticket and post the ID here and we can have somebody take a look.
