Free domain offer expired?

So the free domain offer had an expiry date? I never knew.
Missed my chance because I was still deciding what to use.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

Yep, it was only for 60 days.
But you can register a domain with the likes of www.123-reg.co.uk and www.1and1.co.uk for about £2.50 per year, so no great loss.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

The time limit was 60 days from the date of launch, 21st June, this was announced at the time and looking at the previous forums there were some mentions of this in threads over there. Sorry you missed this.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

If you chose to register for it but have not yet selected the domain then all you need to do is go through the normal route to register a domain. As long as you choose a .co.uk, .me.uk or .org.uk you won't be charged.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

I did actually select a domain - nadger.me.uk. Is there a way of checking as doing a check using Easily it's still showing as available.
Cheers

Re: Free domain offer expired?

That domain isn't showing on your account yet and it still shows as available to register.
So if you click this link and select that domain it should go through for you.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

What bothered me, Chris, is that I screwed up making free registration.
Not a problem if I did as can live without the domain name.

Re: Free domain offer expired?

If you have a look at the domain names section of the portal you should see this domain now, it will tell you on there when it has completed the registration.
