First day on adslmax and guess what,thunder and lightening here !

Hi,
Typical,talk about bad luck !
Adslmax just been enabled and i now have torrential rain with thunder and lightening  here in North Wales
Question is,will this ruin the training period?

It all depends how badly affected the line is by the storm. I'm afraid we have no control over that one!

Maybe i can clarify things here a bit.
Adslmax enabled sometime in the morning,noise margin nice and stable at approx 6db.
By approx 1pm thunder and lightning started,and this sent the max control in to overtime,noise margin up and down and sync reduced.
Then the power goes off for approx 1hr,upon return of power sync returns back to 2528kb and 6db noise margin.
What i want to know is this,as this is day 1 of the 10 day training period,will this affect the outcome of the  MSR ?

You live out In the sticks? I would not worry about It too much, Either way there's nothing you can or could do until your 10 days Is up.

I wouldn't worry. After the initial 10 day period - if your line remains stable, and you're not on 21CN, it's a much simpler matter than it used to be for PN to request a re-train.
