Fibre upload speeds

I can't find the upload speeds for the Value Fibre or Extra Fibre products - is it listed anywhere? What are the speeds?

Upload speeds are shown in the key at the bottom of this Upload Speeds guide, though it's not easy to find.
The current Fibre products have up to 2Mbps upload speed. There are plans to introduce an up to 10Mbps option (at extra cost) but no date has been announced for that.

Thanks for that, not sure how you are actually meant to find that page, I even went up a level and couldn't find how to get back down!
2Mbps is pretty poor as the maximum upload speed - in my opinion

To find that page I typed "fibre upload speeds" into the search box on the Help & Support page..
I knew the answer anyway, but located the page for you to read.

Fair enough but sat the top of that page is
Support Pages > Broadband > Guide to Broadband Speeds > Broadband Upload Speeds
and if I go back to 'Guide to Broadband Speeds' I would expect an option there for 'Broadband Upload Speeds'! Is that not what navigation is about?
I did enter a few search terms to try and track down the answer myself but I got nothing!
I do think that PN are a good ISP but they do play their cards very close to their chest

Yes, I agree there should be a link to both Broadband Download Speeds and Broadband Upload Speeds on that Guide to Broadband Speeds index page.

are there reasons as to why we get capped a bit ?  to note, i dont have an issue, just curious.....
There are 2 people on my small street that have BT infinity, not so much interested in the upload speed, but they do get a solid 38mb down, where as i am capped at 33mb down....
i'm curious as to why, and so was the 2nd BT guy that came to sort my line out

It's not a 'cap' as such. The BT profile will be setting our profile, so the line is probably performing a little less than your neighbours.

As Spraxyt says, we are planning to increase the upload limit in the future, not sure when yet though. As for the positioning of the upload speed information, I'll certainly mention it, although, historically, when most people refer to speed they mean download speed. That said, I think people do a lot more uploading these days than they ever did before.

Yes, we currently sell fibre with a 2mb upstream.
