If you are using fibre for your broadband connection is there a facility to switch it off should you wish to use your computer disconnected from the internet ?

If you are using wireless then go to wireless settings on the device and disconnect.

Sorry to be going on about this as I don't have fibre (but was considering getting it)
1. Is the fibre router connected to the master socket using a cable that could easily be unplugged
2. Can you confirm there is or is not an on/off switch on the fibre router.

With Fibre you have a Modem and a Router. If you do not require the internet then you can switch the modem off and with the router still on you will still have the LAN.
