Fibre installation question.

I have just booked an upgrade to fibre with the appointment arranged for next Monday (24th).
My question is that I am using a BT HH5 which as you know already has a fibre modem built in. I am wondering what the engineer will do, still install an Openreach modem or connect straight to my HH5?
The idea being having as much less "clutter" & wiring as possible.
Cheers.

Re: Fibre installation question.

He will install the BT Modem to make sure it is working and then you can replace it with the HH5 after he has gone

Re: Fibre installation question.

Thanks, no problem. Will do that. Also be able to see any speed differences between the two.
