Have been a plusnet customer for a while now (years not months) and today had my Fibre upgrade installed.
Yes, I know the speed is variable for new few days but I wondered, what's my typically speed I can expect at say 10am UK time?
1) Have plus net value fibre
2) Have set wifi channel to one no on else appears to be broadcasting on
3) Have router set not near microwave or wireless phone
4) Am asking about wired speed anyway
5) my house is within 100m from exchange, (BT man suggested during installation that I should see amongst the best speeds they have)
So far speed tests have shown:
a) during morning, 35mb down, 1.8mb up
b) during evening 27mb down, 1.6mb up
My curiousity is about the upload. I';ve scoured the website and can't find anything about published upload figures. What's a typical upload speed one could expect from Plusnet Fibre value?
I'm not complaining, just enquiring as to typical/expected values for a wired connection.
thanks

All new PN users are put on 40Mb down, 2Mb up.
If you join the 80/20 trial you will get high teens up (see the Fibre Trials board).

That's what you'd expect on the standard 40/2 product!
