But the speeds are all over the place as you would expect for the first 14 days.
the line profile is set at 50mb and the plusnet line current line speed is 49.5mb but just done the BT wholesale speed test and is currently at 24.85mb and 10.12mb upload ping 37.13. so you can't trust Plusnets current speed within account settings!
over the next 4 days will the line test the higher ratios or do you think there could be a line problem?
Should I open a support ticket?
any advice?

I'm sorry to hear of the speed issues you're experiencing. I've had a look at your line and I can't see any issues on our side. In this instance I would suggest that you run our troubleshooter and raise a fault so that we can raise this with our suppliers. You can do this here: http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/bbfaults/

I'm glad to hear the Fibre service has been installed for you. I've had a look and can see that your account hadn't change to the Fibre package yet as you only just had the service installed. The account has now been changed and you should notice an increase in your speeds shortly.

Just to reply to this thread and hopefully get some advice...
Just wondering about opening a support ticket to do a line test. The speeds on the fibre still appear to jumping around and now 14 days in don't appear to be getting any better. the last test i did yesterday was showing 34.97 download and 9.47upload with 50ms ping at 4.33pm . I will do more speed test this evening to get a fuller picture. But have noticed since Thursday when BT/Openreach were tampering with the pole out side of our house and have left the wires exposed to the northern climate.

how can I describe this in a report of a fault on our line?
