Fibre Optic Broadband - WBC FTTC

Hey all, sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm wondering if fibre optic broadband is actually available to me now.  When I use the BT braodband availability checker with my phone number I get this:
"Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 17Mbps and upstream line speed of 8.1Mbps."
Also when I use the BT Infinity test, I'm told that BT Infinity is available to me. I had heard that WBC FTTC wouldn't be available until September at the earliest.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Sorry, its the Lurgan exchange. I checked via plusnet's list of exchanges but there was no date of when it would receive WBC FTTC.

No I hadn't read that, thanks for the link. I'd thought only Milton Keynes and the surrounding area was able to go on the plusnet trial. If I can go on the trail myself I might as well give it a try.
