Fibre Issues

Have been using the Plusnet Extra Fibre now for a month and a half, for the first month it worked flawlessly. On 12th July my broadband dropped off and has been off more than it has been on for the last 9 days, id say ive had 1 full days usage out of it in these last 9 days.
When i was supposed to get a BT engineer out to check the problem they didnt turn up and 2 days down the line i dont have another date for their visit.
I never had any issues with my ADSL but these fibre issues are beginning to annoy me.
Hopefully this will be sorted within the next few days and hopefully i get a refund for the 2 weeks i will have been without internet.
Not happy with fibre at the moment though, speed is very good but reliability is very low.
