Fibre Install Thursday and no communication - should I be concerned

Hi,
I have a fibre install due Thursday and so far apart from the original email confirming the date when i upgraded I have not heard a word. No sign so far of the hardware but I don't know if this is normal.
For those that have been through this already should I have heard anything or received anything by now?
Thanks
Rob

It can be normal, your router should turn up in the next day or so.

If you log into your member centre, account settings and account summery you should be able to see the status of your router and whether it has been shipped or awaiting shipment

Thanks Mushy,
According to that its "Hardware dispatch pending" not sure that fills me with confidence knowing how things work with mail and couriers round this time.

Hi @RobH.
I'm sorry if you've not heard anything, the router got dispatched yesterday so I'd imagine that should reach you by the 13th at the latest.

Thanks, I just don't fancy the bloodbath of 1 wife and 2 teenage kids being told they will have to take it in turn to connect to the internet.

Re: Fibre Install Thursday and no communication - should I be concerned

Well I thought I should finish this off as I was expressing concern.
The router did turn up Wednesday much to my relief (still surprised it is left so late to send them). The BT Engineer phoned at 9.20 Thursday and said he would be here in 10 mins, duly turned up,fiddled around went of to the exchange, came back 20 minutes later changed socket, plugged in modem and the router, tested the phone line in case, got me to check the internet connection which was fine then he left, all done in less than 90 mins.
Our estimate speed was Download 32mb Upload 6mb currently running at 38mb and 8mb so delighted.
One happy teenage daughter as she can watch rubbish on youtube without freezing, and a happy wife as she can listen to Saga FM (classic FM) to her hearts content on her iphone.
Now just waiting for my 802.11n wifi dongles as my laptop os old and slow (802.11g)
Couldnt be happier at the moment and well done to both plusnet and BT.
