Fibre Broadband + Airport Extreme + Static IP + Mavericks Server

Hello.
Just joined Plus Net and have added a static IP to my package.
I would like to run an iMac as a server, running Mavericks Server.
Does anyone have any experience of setting all this up and be willing to share their experience? I've only ever had experience of setting this up without having to use the Airport Extreme to dial in via PPoE.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Fibre Broadband + Airport Extreme + Static IP + Mavericks Server

Hi there,
From a network point of view it'll be a case of either forwarding the ports (there'll be a lot of them) to the internal IP of the Mac, or if you don't want to forward the ports individually then putting the server in a DMZ would probably work. As for the actual installation and running of a Maverick server I'm afraid I don't have any experience with apple computers so will leave that to others (there's definitely a few enthusiasts on here Smiley )
