Fibre 38Mb vs 76Mb

I'm probably being thick here, but bear with me.
I'm currently on the 76Mb Unlimited Fibre product, but I can only achieve about 31Mb.
If I switch to the cheaper 38Mb product, will I still get 31Mb or will that drop proportionally as well?

You will still get the 31Mb/s as that product is still 80/20 but with a download cap of 40Mbps

@11110_110 It would depend on what you're paying now - I'm unable to find your account so if you'd like me to take a look into yours then you can PM your username over Smiley However, the best team to speak to are our Customer Options team on 0800 013 2632 or 0330 123 9197 and they're available -
Monday to Friday: 9.00am - 8.00pm (Except Bank Holidays)
    Saturday: 9.00am - 5.30pm
They may be able to offer you a deal which would mean a larger saving than what my calculations would be based on no discounts. Smiley
