Fiber up and running - 7MB down?

Greetings (Another thread from me, yes)

Basically, I've had Fiber optic since 4th of December, and have been working fine, just the problem being that I'm currently maxing out at 7MB's down (18MBs Up) and a BT test advised me to contact support (On the phone now)

I've read others posts that this is very low, even for the early days of an installation.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

Since this is a public forum I suggest replacing at least the 'number' part of your phone number with asterisks.

I don't keep a phone plugged in, so doesn't really matter to me :p

Wired, Win 7 64 Bit.
I've just tired to connect directly via the OR modem using PPPOE direct connection, and getting the same speed, so it cant be the router.
Some guy at plusnet is talking with a few guys about it now, gonna' rign me back.

Re: Fiber up and running - 7MB down?

Guy from Plusnet has raised a fault, as we couldn't find the problem.

Idk where to go from here, guess I'll report soon.

@sanctuary I can see that we've logged a fault report with our suppliers, I'd imagine we should have a response back regarding that before the end of today.

Wait a couple of minutes, log in to the router and disconnect/reconnect. Hopefully that's fixed it.
