Fiber constantly dropping

Hi been with Plusnet just over a year and been very happy, however over last month my connection has been dropping from every hour or so, to now nearly every ten to fifteen minutes. When I reported it last month a BT engineer came out and replaced my openreach modem as it was running hot, also replaced my ethernet leads.  However still getting worse, when I use the windows troubleshooter it says problem with gateway connection ( I have googled and used the microsoft support page for his gateway issue, but still not helped) I then used your plusnet assist which said the fault was with proxy settings, I then had to install the awful internet explorer so that it could change my proxy settings, this again did not work, I also used the advice to change proxy settings on firefox, again it did not work.  I have tried everything, checked for updates and reinstalled network card drivers nothing is working.  I am getting frustrated as whenever I speak to plusnet support I just get told we can see no history of drops on the network and check your cables, oh and your connecting wirelessly! my PC has a wireless card but I connect to my router using the ethernet.
Any help suggestions etc?

Re: Fiber constantly dropping

Welcome to the forums.
Are these devices which are dropping the connection wifi or wire connected?
There is every possibility that the drops are all related to wifi operation, not (as indicated by PlusNet's response) the FTTC service.
Proxy settings have no bearing on this issue.

Re: Fiber constantly dropping

unfortunately that doesn't help as that can be red even when you are connected
Try looking here and say what it says http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/bb/?be=0&l0=2&l1=-1 about internet
However if the broadband light stays green when the connection drops  it isn't a line problem

Re: Fiber constantly dropping

Hi Superflyguy,
After reviewing your connection logs I can see that you're seeing drops every so often but these don't appear to be constant. Are you seeing disconnections outside of what we can see on the graph below?
