Faster upload speed required for XboxLive

Quote from: Bob
Hi there,
You're line's provided on 20CN/ADSL1. It looks like you have one of our routers so I've placed an order to move you across to ADSL2+ with uncapped upload (up to 1.3Mbps dependent on line conditions). The order should complete at some point on the 27th September.

Hi I have a problem with my upload speed being to low to play xbox live as i actually get 330kbps but 500kbps is required as a minimum. I have used the exchange status checker and the results are below.
Exchange Status Checker
Results: Stewkley
Code: SMST
County: Buckinghamshire
Enabled: 30 Jun 2004
Market: 1
Mkt2014: A
Colour: Green 20CN VP capacity at this exchange is currently showing as Green.
Colour: Red BT have not advised a planned date for WBC on 21CN
Colour: Unknown You can view recent Service Outages for this exchange here
Colour: Unknown BT have published Max DSL upgrade information for this exchange

My connection stats from my router are below which is ADSL2+ compatible.
Line Status:Connected
DSL Modulation Type:ADSL_G.dmt
Annex Type:Annex A/L
                        Upstream               Downstream
Current Rate (Kbps) 448                        8128
Max Rate (Kbps)        1156                 8128
SNR Margin (dB)         26                         12.7
Line Attenuation (dB) 11                         18.5
Errors (Pkts)        0                         0

Can my upload speed be increased please??
Many Thanks

Re: Faster upload speed required for XboxLive

only way you'll get faster upload speed is to get Max Premium on your account for about £10 a month as your exchange hasn't got adsl2+ or any other service.
that'd double your upload.

Re: Change Upload Speed?

As your exchange hasn't been enabled for 21CN the only way to get higher upload is to buy this http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/products/prioritised-service-faq.shtml which gives 832kbps upload

Re: Faster upload speed required for XboxLive

Let us know how you get on with the increased upload speed. Interested to see if a such a small increase in upload can really make a difference.

I will provide an update next week. I will go from being below the minimum threshold by 34% to being above it so hopefully it ill resolve my issue. At the moment i am unable to play battlefield 4 on the xbox one due to lag 90% of the time. Plusnet have confirmed my line is fine and i have tried 3 different routers, a direct cable to the router and port forwarding or dmz to name a few things but the issue is not resolved. Will let you know Thanks.
