@ rookey
What did the engineer do to your line recently? If you run speedtest.net now, what are your results like?

Re: Face time problems

All he said was cleared a line fault will do speed test soon. But upload speed max 0.36 but it keeps dropping up and down to .11 not a stable speed

Re: Face time problems

If you can get someone to do a quiet line test (dial 17070 from your phone) from your landline - any hissing or noise might affect your broadband.

Re: Face time problems

I am guessing my graph is not normal for what it should be? Ie not using the net much or just for browsing

Re: Face time problems

What were you using your connection for at 4.00pm ?
(No I don't work for Plusnet by the way).
Can you post those stats.
If you are having problems getting the stats, don't forget to click View more.... and the Details on the top RHS. Just copy and paste and put in a post.

Re: Face time problems

This is a graph showing just web page use and some online radio:

The peaks are me doing speed tests. The little peaks are unknown - they are always present.

Re: Face time problems

You're going to have to bare with PN. I know this isn't the answer you want, but trust me - the vast majority of ISPs wouldn't even give you feedback right now. BT/Sky/TT would be of no use to you right now.

Re: Face time problems

Totally agree there AndyH.
rookey, have you got a flat above the exchange? If not, it must be at the bottom of your garden!
You still haven't said what you were using at just after 4.00pm. I was hoping we might account for the Blue peak?
