I have just looked on the BT fibre rollout PDF for when Fibre will be coming to my area, there are a lot of towns mentioned and some have a (B) after the disrict name, does anyone know what the (B) stands for. The reason I ask is because when I checked digital region, before it folded, It said I could only get 40 meg and not 80 meg. So I am wondering if the (B) means 40 meg connection only.
Thanks for reading.
example
NDRYE RYE FTTC Mar-14 Rother District
NESNS SANDSEND FTTC Dec-13 Scarborough District (B)
EASXM SAXMUNDHAM FTTC Mar-14 Suffolk Coastal District
LCSCA SCARISBRICK FTTC/P Dec-13 West Lancashire District
SLSC SCARTHO FTTC Dec-13 North East Lincolnshire (B)
WNSEA SEALAND FTTC/P Dec-13 Sir y Fflint - Flintshire
THSE SHERE FTTC Dec-13 Guildford District (B)
NESBY SINDERBY FTTC Dec-13 Hambleton District
EASNA SNAPE FTTC Mar-14 Suffolk Coastal District NDSGO
SOUTH GODSTONE FTTC Dec-13 Tandridge District
Thanks for reading.

Its probably the roll out stage for your area.
I.e
ANYCITY - Main exchange - City - FTTC enabled
ANYCITY's Suburb - ANYSUB - Park Exchange B
ANYCITY'S Suburb - ANYSUB - RiverView A
RiverView exchange would come first to get FTTC then Park Exchange
The above is just fictional. I may be wrong if that isn't the case. If wrong please correct me guys

I think it's to do with BDUK funding - i.e. these are areas being all or partly funded by BDUK for the fibre roll out.
