Just migrated in from BT Infinity yesterday. It seems I'm on the 40/10 profile and not the 80/20 as expected. I'm on Plusnet Unlimited Fibre.
Modem info today:
Max: Upstream rate = 9471 Kbps, Downstream rate = 55560 Kbps
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 9486 Kbps, Downstream rate = 39998 Kbps
Whereas yesterday I was getting:
Max: Upstream rate = 9471 Kbps, Downstream rate = 55560 Kbps
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 9739 Kbps, Downstream rate = 53695 Kbps
Advised to post again this morning. Thanks.

Hi rederick,
As your speed estimate was lower than 40/10 we placed you on the lower product 40/10. It appears that your line can probably sustain faster speeds so I've placed a modify order to move you onto 80/20, that should kick in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

I think the speed estimate failed when I signed up, some problem accessing the BT database I guess, and I clicked an option to continue anyway.
Thanks for updating my profile

I had the same problem yesterday. After the reset by PN I had to reboot my router.

Rebooting the router makes sense, as you have to remake the PPPoE connection after a line profile change to pick up the change. I've seen that before. If you have an all-in-one router/modem then the line resyncing may cause the router to relogin the PPP, but I have a Huwaei openreach modem and my own router.
