Hi I wonder if anyone can help?
I've had my FTTC broadband for about a month. I'm on the unlimited 80/20, i know when it was first connected i had the wrong 40/10 set up, which was changed.
I was promised 65mpbs and my line profile says my line should be up to 77mpbs.
It is very rare that i get anywhere near the predicted 65mpb, it's usually around 50mpbs,if I'm lucky but as you can see from the screen shot attached the speed is down to around
12mpbs both ways !!!
ANY help or ideas would be great.

Are you connected wired/wireless?
Btw, it's easier to paste those results as an image by clicking 'Share this result'. It also hides your IP.

Any chance you can connect via ethernet cable directly to your modem to test the speed?
This would rule out any speed problems with your home plug setup.

I tried that when the FTTC was first installed, and it made no difference between direct connection and homeplug.
i just did a BTW speed test result shown.
As I said the speed changes for no apparent reason !!, but never seems to get to the predicted speed

Hi there,
If you haven't done any recent tests straight over ethernet rather than via the homeplugs it would definitely be worth it just to rule it out - we couldn't raise a fault (if that's what this is) without those results anyway I'm afraid.
Any chance you could try it and paste a screenshot?
