My router will not connect.
I have powered down the router and the modem and tried again and just have an orange rather than green light.
There do not seem to be any service status reports indicating a fault however you helpline seems to be flooded.
Any clues
Durham Area
(connected through an alternative method)

The following was posted on the plusnet.service.status newsgroup this yesterday afternoon:
When's this work happening?
Early tomorrow morning, 14th March.
What does it affect?
Broadband connectivity.
How long will it take?
Up to six hours.
What does the work involve?
We've received notification from our suppliers about maintenance work that is scheduled to take place in the Newcastle upon Tyne region early tomorrow morning.
Am I likely to notice the work?
Yes. Users in this area may be disconnected from the internet for the duration of the maintenance.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Any customers having problems connecting once the maintenance is complete are advised to log into their router interface and click connect.
Kind Regards,
Matt Taylor

Thanks Brian, I eventually got through to support apparently it is a BT maintenance thing and should be OK in the morning. They took me through to the notice you kindly posted.

You can always check the Service Status page if you have problems and other means of getting on-line.
