FTTC installed 48 hours ago - what to expect speed wise in first few days?

Hi,
FTTC was installed two days ago and estimated line speed was 57 MB down and about 15 MB up.
I am currently getting 2.5 MB down and 0.5 MB up...... is this normal in first few days or is there likely to be a problem?
Many thanks, Matt.

Hi there,
Speeds with fibre can take a few days to bed in but those speeds are very slow indeed.
My advice would be to head to http://www.speedtester.bt.com as the next port of call before raising a fault: http://faults.plus.net

Thanks Adam,
I followed the instructions on the link you provided for the tests and it seems that a reboot of the modem has fixed it: 56 MB down and 14 MB up. I'm a happy bunny now ;-). thanks again.
