FTTC enabled at last

Well after months of me moaning about my date being put back (amongst all the other things), I got a surprise when I got a (spam) text from EE today saying my postcode was now enabled for Fibre. I thought it was wrong and put my number into the BT Wholesale checker which had changed from the 30th June to available Shocked
Bit late now for me as got a cable connection now, which is faster than the 60 odd Mb I could get on there.
I don't mean to gloat, but just to let people know to check their status too, as yours may have changed. Strange as I still can't see any Fibre cabs that near me, so I may be sad and have a look.
How cool would it be for PN to have the EE text system in place though? Smiley

Re: FTTC enabled at last

I got an email from PN shortly after my cab was enabled, are you opted in to marketing email?

Re: FTTC enabled at last

Not sure actually, my parents account is the PN one and I must admit to have not really checked the settings for ages.
That's at a different address to me though (a few miles away) which has had FTTC for a few years.
