I'm moving to FTTC on the 1st Aprilo and would like to check / ensure that my existing a Draytek 2710n is OK for this move please?

I think your router doesn't support FTTC (WAN ethernet connection), so it looks like you will need a new router.

The 2710n is a combined ADSL modem & router, I don't think this model has an option to bypass the ADSL modem (which will not work with the VDSL signal on FTTC).
The 2750 series can be used on FTTC (though officially the BT Openreach supplied modem should be used toghether with an ethernet WAN router such as the 2130 series).
