FTTC Unlimited Upload speed never been near estimate

My download speed in tests has always been near the predicted of 54.4 Mbps, however the upload predicted  as up to 15.7 Mbps has never been near that. Normally its about  9 Mbps but in the last few days it has dropped to 6 Mbps. Why is it that the upload can be so different ? The line profile on the BT test says the profile is 20.

Re: FTTC Unlimited Upload speed never been near estimate

Hi DuncanM,
You're currently syncing at 7.2Mb/s on your upstream, are you connecting wired or wireless?
I'd suggest logging into your router and disconnecting then power down your router and modem, leave this for a few minutes. Then power your modem back on and wait for your DSL light to become stable, you'll then need to login to your router and click connect again.,
Let me know the results if you can try that.

Re: FTTC Unlimited Upload speed never been near estimate

Hi
I have done as you said. I am connecting via Ethernet. I have rerun the test and results are :
Download speedachieved during the test was - 48.56 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 12 Mbps-55.47 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 55.47 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 6.28Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps
So no difference really.
