Re: FTTC Slowing Down Below Estimate

Hi everyone

I ordered my fibre 80/20 unlimited,  in April this year based on the Pn estimate of 43Mb, and the btdsl checker results of "FTTC Range A, 60.1 high 43 low" Downstream. 17 high,  10.8 low upstream  -  Range B impacted 51.1 high 28.3 low. downstream.  17 high,  10.8 low upstream.
When activated I had a good 48Mb download speed which I was happy with, however after the  first 10 days my speed dropped to 38 Mb,( not bad it may go back up a little I thought!).
Since then things have only got worse, now down to 26 mb down and 5.2 Mb up.
Will speed improve? (I don't think so!)
To make things worse the bt dsl checker now has been changed,
(it now reads "FTTC range A 43.9 high 32.8 low, downdtream. ((9.3 high.  6.6 low upstream.))
FTTC rang B impacted 37.5 high 28.3 low. downstream.(( 9.3 high . 5.3 low upstream))
With this latest bombshell from bt I would request a downgrade to the 40/20 unlimited package  please, No point in paying for the 80/20 unlimited package when its not attainable.

many thanks
