Good evening all,
I've had my connection running smoothly for roughly 6 months, during which time I havn't touched a thing - and had zero issues.
However since Saturday, I've been having intermittant drops in speed and huge increases in latency.
For example, 20ms is the normal - however this has been shooting over 500ms (and on a couple of occasions over 1000ms) - during this time, web browsing is slow - and speed drastically decreased (e.g. 1.5mb/s where usual is 17mb/s - ADSL2+)
Nothing in the house has changed - I do run a tweaked SNR margin but, I've ruled that out by defaulting back to the norm and also trying 2 different routers to rule that out (Plusnet's own router died instantly...)
It does seem extremely random, peak time was worst for sure - as its no where near as frequeant now.
I have submitted a support request but, last time I had a problem the "go to no matter what" fix was to increase SNR to a silly level (which didnt help anyway) - so I've instructed them to leave it be!
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Just after I believe.
I have setup a TBB Monitoring graph as well, so I will update this thread tonight with that and also router stats if and during when it happens again.
I'm also running a Samknows whitebox - but I don't think that's picked this up due to only testing every so often (can't remember off hand, ever hour or so?!)
