Hi, wondering if anyone knows how phone and broadband is delivered to multiple exchanges, Does it run down some sort of main line to the area then go to each exchange or does it run to the area through multiple exchanges. The reason i ask is i reported a fault, which seems to have fixed itself after a line card problem was sorted at an exchange 15 miles away within the same area code(not my local exchange), Could this be the cause of the fault ?.

Hi,
I tried to find your account but I couldn't get any details to check the situation for you.
Generally speaking, when a line card is changed, it will be done in your local exchange. It's possible the problem was in a node (big exchange) which sounds like it is linked to your local.
