I am due to be moved onto 21CN this week and although my exchange shows green my D/L speeds are consistently around 6.5Mbs during the day but drop to around 2Mbs in the evening rush hour.
I was therefore hoping the move might alleviate this issue.

My IP Profile is now 12.19Mbs having been ADSL2+ enabled at around 1:30 this afternoon
I guess I should leave it alone for 10 days before nudging for a PN profile update which is currently 7.15.
Quote Download speed achieved during the test was - 6.61 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 4 Mbps-21 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 12.19 Mbps
Quote Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.97Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps
PS Very happy so far Ping is down from 16ms to 13ms

Now, how long before you have fibre available?

I feel you should be asking PN for your current line speed to be upped forthwith!

Asking Plusnet to increase your Plusnet Profile to 12.1Mbps will ensure training takes place at the correct transfer rates.
Presumably you still have a 6dB downstream target noise margin. The DLM might try 3dB is error rates are low.

Not complaining, just curious.

I've changed your profile to 12100 on our side, so you should see the change in the next 15 minutes.
