I have been speaking to the very nice people at Plus Net and am upgrading to business option 3 in the morning due to current peak time speed issues on my existing package.
I have been informed that despite my distance from the exchange my upload speed should increase. Had I known this I would have upgraded long ago as upload speed is a complete killer on ADSL.
Based on my detailed line stats from my Cisco 837 below how much if any increase could I expect? Looking at the 64% usage on the upstream does this mean I could get around 700K upstream?
As a point of interest I also have a Netgear DG834 which always provided much better speed on the same line but completely lacks the capabilities of the Cisco. Can anyone point me to an easy setup guide for using the Netgear as a modem and Cisco just as a router?
