Entering code for e-mails

Hi all -  only switched to plusnet a couple of days ago but the need to enter the viewed code each time I want to send an e-mail is driving me nuts already. Can anyone tell me if and how I can get rid of this?
Everything else looks great so far!! Grin

Re: Entering code for e-mails

Assuming you are on Plusnet broadband, can you go to http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway and post back what it says please.

Re: Entering code for e-mails

It should not be required if you are using it from a PlusNet IP. If you use it from an IP outside PlusNet you will always need to enter the code as it is a security feature to stop spammers.

Re: Entering code for e-mails

....thanks guys - me being dumb!!! My Orange account is still active for another few weeks and is running in tandem with Plusnet (the link says I'm not recognised as a Plusnet customer.) I'm guessing once Orange dies and goes away all will be well.
Thanks for the speedy reply!
