About to get a Service Status out and a P1 has been raised.
Edit: SMTP auth problems should now be fixed. Our engineers found a truncated file that they believe was the cause of the problems.

Sorry to report it's still broken for me - I did manage to get a message out earlier after hitting retry numerious times...

Edit: I wonder if it is just individual mail servers that are affected - maybe some of them did not pick up the corrected file.

Last night I unchecked the "use authentication" (or whatever it is called - no password anyway), and it goes OK.
Will try again tonight with authentication enabled.
