Email Groups

Hi
I'm trying to set my email account up like I did at my previous host.
An email sent to everyone@example.con would be automatically sent to anyone I added to the group, so both me and the missus got a copy of the email.
Is this possible at plusnet at all?
TIA

Re: Email Groups

If you use Outlook Express then you can set up a "Group" from your address book. Open the address book and hit Ctrl + G.

Re: Email Groups

If I understand you correctly the only way this might work is to setup your email so that the emails remain on the server then you could both download them.
It would mean going into webmail occasionally to delete them.

Re: Email Groups

I'm not sure if I understand what is required.
I send emails to myself and Bcc them to a group.
I get a copy that way. So does the group.

Re: Email Groups

Sorry for the late reply!
Ill try and explain how it used to work with another ISP:
I set an email account up called (for example) family@mydoamin.com
I then create a mail group for that email address.
I add the email addresses to that group: (example) me@mydomain mrs@mydomain daughter@mydomain mymate@hotmail.com you@whateveryourdomainis.coc.uk
Now any email sent to family@mydoamin.com will be forwarded by the server to: me@mydomain mrs@mydomain daughter@mydomain mymate@hotmail.com you@whateveryourdomainis.coc.uk
So everyone gets a copy of the original email without me having to do anything.

Re: Email Groups

if you use an email client like Outlook you can setup a group, which would be my preference or you can use Plusnet Mailing list option.
